In his portraits, Rankin is particularly interested in the tension generated when the stars are shown in everyday situations and actions. The artist’s goal is for the sitters to have fun at the shoot. Moreover, the stars contribute aspects of their personality and help form the motif.

The sheet has been mounted firmly on cardboard and is in very good condition. The frame has slight traces of usage.
